Frequently asked questions
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time to book a newborn session is within 14 days after birth (exception for preemies). We schedule newborn shoots during their sleep times. Research has shown that babies sleep best in the mornings, so we fix our shoots from 9:00 am to 1:00 am (GMT +1)
What should I bring to my newborn session?
You don’t need to bring much! I provide all the necessary props, blankets, and wraps. However, it’s helpful to bring extra diapers, wipes, and a pacifier. If there are any special items or outfits (heirlooms) you’d like included in the photos, feel free to bring them along.
Can parents and siblings be included in the newborn session?
Absolutely! Including parents and siblings in the session is a wonderful way to capture the bond your family shares with the new baby. Kindly explore our “fam and me” packages.
Will the light hurt my baby’s eyes?
No, the lighting used during newborn sessions is safe and gentle for your baby’s eyes. I primarily use natural light or soft studio lighting designed to be non-intrusive and comfortable. I’m very mindful of your baby’s well-being and take great care to ensure they are never exposed to harsh or direct light. Your baby’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities.
